Mark C. Smith serves as a financial advisor & Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo Advisors. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Advisors in 2021, Mark spent 14 years at UBS, servicing clients of all walks of life. In 2018, Mark was named one of Forbes Top-Next Generation Wealth Advisors. Mark graduated from Fordham University with his B.A in History. He began his professional career in politics, where he managed a campaign for Attorney General for the State of New York. He began his career on Wall Street in 2005 at one of the oldest money managers in the US, Lord Abbett & Co. After serving as a wholesaler at the firm for over a year, he decided to try and build a book of business at UBS Financial Services. In 2006, Mark joined UBS, servicing professional athletes, entertainers, lawyers, doctors, and family offices.

Philanthropically Mark started the Smith Family Economic Empowerment Zone at the Cardinal Shehan Center in his hometown of Bridgeport, CT. He was subsequently named Fairfield County philanthropist of the year 2022.
